This is pretty much an industry standard at this point to avoid customers purchasing a liquid that they find out later isn't suitable. Whether this is a money saving ploy by this shop or just sheer laziness, who knows.
Second, a particular member of staff came across as incredibly rude and arrogant. When asked for help around choosing a liquid, this staff member was very belittling and acted as though my questions were stupid and beneath him.
Perhaps this member of staff needs to learn that such behaviour isn't conducive to maintaining a loyal customer base nor confidence in the brand. Unfortunately I won't be returning here to shop despite it's convenient location to my home.
